INTRODUCTION <br />' At the i equest of Mr Joe Toste Jr , Advaiiced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has pi epared this <br /> quarterly report for the property located at 2353 Toste Road, Tl acy, California The site and the <br /> surrounding ai ea ai e illusti ated in Figure 1 On-site structures, boi ing locations and momtoi ing well <br />' locations are illusti ated on Figure 2 <br /> The quartet ly i eport is pi epared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br />' Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Centi al Valley Regional Watei Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of undergi ound stoi age tank (UST) sites <br /> Background information is summai ized in the AGE report titled Prehminary Investigation and <br /> IEvaluation Report, dated 30 Match 1999 <br /> 2 0. PROCEDURES <br /> Eight gi ound water monitor ing wells wei e pui ged and sampled on 12 Api 112000 Field work was <br /> lie pet formed in accoi dance with PHS-EHD approved Site Assessment Woi k Plan Addendum, dated <br /> 28 July 1999 <br /> 1 ,i <br /> L 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> rFoi this sampling event, a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> in eight wells i elative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gi adient were <br /> deteiTmned from these data (Table 1) <br /> Aftel i ecoi ding water level measui ements, a submersible pump was used to purge each monitoring <br /> well of standing water Appi oximately 6 gallons of water (minimum of 3 water volumes fi om <br /> submei ged casing) were i emoved from each well, excluding well MW-6, which was pui ged of <br /> apps oximately 13 gallons of watei Gi ound water temper atut e, pH and conductivity wei e measured <br /> at i egulai intervals dui mg pui ging using a Hydac water analyzer Field sheets and data ai e included <br /> in Appendix A Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved di un-is <br /> 2 2 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples wei e collected fi om each purged well using new disposable plastic bailers Each water <br /> sample was transferred into 40-m1 VOA vials containing 0 5 ml 18% hydrochloi is acid as a sample <br /> pi esei vative Aftei collection, the samples were properly labeled, placed in a chilled container and <br /> Advanced GeoEnrironmental,Inc <br />
