FINDINGS 3 1 GROUND WATER GRADIENT AND FLOW DIRECTION The elevation of gi ound water in each well was calculated by subtracting the depth to gi ound water fi om the surveyed well casing elevations (Table 1) For the April 2000 sampling event, depths to gi ound water ranged fi om 6 88 feet to 7 70 feet below the tops of the well casings Gt ound water elevations at the site ranged from 29 29 feet in well MW-5 to 29 84 in well MW1 ` The gi ound water flow drt ection was calculated using ground water elevation data The gi ound water at the site is flowing to the north-northwest with an average gradient of 0 005 feet/feet or 0 29 Idegrees The ground water contours are depicted on Figure 3 3 3 LABORATORY RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES TPH-g was detected in the water samples collected fiom monitoring wells MW-2, MW-4, MW-5, 4dtanced GeoN n%tronmental,Inc
