S 26 September 2000 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 96-0263 <br /> Page 5of10 <br /> Laboratory reports for soil analysis, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations <br /> 3 3 MONITORING WELL PILOT BORING DRILLING AND SOIL SAMPLING <br /> AGE proposes to install three ground water monitoring wells at the site as part of additional site <br /> assessment activities Proposed well locations are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> Based on soil and ground water contamination encountered at the site, AGE proposes ground water <br /> monitoring well installations in the following locations <br /> • Between 40 and 50 feet southeast of ground water monitoring well MW-6 to assess the <br /> lateral extent of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon-impact upgradient of the former UST and <br /> dispenser area, <br /> . • Between 115 and 125 feet northwest of ground water monitoring well MW-6 to assess the <br /> lateral extent of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon-impact downgradient of the former UST <br /> and dispenser area, and <br /> • Between 100 and 110 feet north of ground water monitoring well MW-6 to assess the lateral <br /> extent of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon-impact downgradient of the former UST and <br /> dispenser area <br /> The proposed ground water monitoring well locations will be advanced to approximately 20 feet bsg <br /> utilizing a truck-mounted, hollow stem drill ng equipped with 8-mch diameter hollow-stem augers <br /> Total depths of bonngs may vary according to hydrogeologic/geologic conditions encountered during <br /> drilling activities <br /> Selected soil samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services <br /> (DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents <br /> • TPH-g in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030, <br /> • BTEX compounds and methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) in accordance with EPA Method <br /> 8020, and <br /> • Fuel oxygenated compounds including MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, EDB and <br /> 1,2-DCA by EPA Method 8260B <br /> Laboratory reports for the soil analyses,testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> Advanced GeoEnviranmental,Inc <br />
