Except as otherwise provided herein, the Contractor shall remove all . <br /> cuttings, drillings, debris and unused materials from the site and shall <br /> dispose of this material off of the City's property. Upon completion of the ' F <br /> work, the site shall be left in a condition equal to or better than the adjacent <br /> areas. -_ <br /> B. Wastewater from drilling, developing, and test pumping shall be disposed of <br /> to the satisfaction of the Engineer. The Contractor shall take care to <br /> discharge the water in such a manner that does not cause pollution, erosion, <br /> rutting of the ground surface,other damage to the existing land condition, <br /> flooding, increased turbidity, or other damage to property. ' <br /> C. The Contractor shall, as part of his pre-contract site inspection, determine <br /> what temporary disposal pipeline routes would be available to him and the <br /> lengths of pipe required. The Contractor shall provide all the necessary <br /> temporary piping from the well to the point of disposal. Temporary disposal <br /> pipelines shall be laid along routes approved by the Engineer and may be <br /> laid on the ground surface. Full compensation for conforming to these <br /> requirements, including ail the labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals, (r <br /> and for doing all the work involved in placing and removing all the temporary <br /> disposal piping, as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special f/w <br /> provisions, and as directed by the Engineer, shall be considered as included <br /> in the prices paid for the various contract items of work involved and no <br /> additional compensation will be allowed. <br /> D. Portable circulation pits will be required in the vicinity of the wells at a <br /> location approved by the Engineer. After completion of the work, the pits <br /> shall be cleaned out and disposed of offsite and pit filled with backfill <br /> compacted to 99% of maximum density as determined by ASTM D9 557, r <br /> "Method of Test for Moisture-Density Relation of Soil. If any drilling materials r <br /> or slit enter the storm drain basin, the contractor will remove the materials <br /> an64carify the basin bottom in order to verify that the basin has not been <br /> "clogged" by deleterious material. <br /> E.
