La The sites of the demolition work shall be restored to match the surrounding conditions. <br /> Destruction of the Lewis Manor Well: (Bid Item No. 3) <br /> The top of the well casing on the well shall be demolished so that it terminates a <br /> minimum of 3 feet below the finished grade. <br /> Destruction of the Ball Park Well: (Bid Item No. 4) <br /> All of the piping, valves, electric facilities and ancillary equipment shall remain in place. <br /> The motor and pump have been removed. A section of the pump discharge piping may <br /> be removed to facilitate access to the well providing that the exposed end of the water <br /> distribution system piping is sealed with a blind flange. If a section of the existing pump <br /> discharge piping is removed (for the Contractor's convenience) it shall be stored within <br /> the-well housing building as directed by the Engineer. <br /> The building roof and side access wall panels may be removed to permit access to the <br /> well.
