I <br /> however, the nearest well system is located approximately three-fourths mile to the southeast <br /> Well information is included in the EDR report in Appendix G <br /> Shaw performed a search for nearby wells using the State of California's Geotracker program, <br /> which includes the S3CEHD records, and the State of California's Division of Water Resources <br /> (DWR) records for current and former wells within 2,000 feet of the site According to the DWR <br /> records, eleven wells are located within 2,000 feet of the site The nearest two wells are located <br /> approximately 650 feet to the north, in Lincoln Park These wells were installed in 1948 and <br /> 1989 for the City of Tracy for a municipal water supply source According to the City of Tracy <br /> Public Works Department, the well installed in 1989 is still in use The DWR records state that <br /> the well has a sanitary seal to 250 feet bsg, and is screened from 490 feet to 980 feet bsg <br /> The remaining nine wells in the DWR records were located over 1,500 feet from the site No <br /> wells were identified using the Geotracker program At the time of this report, however, no <br /> public water supply wells are being shown on the program Copies of the DWR reports are <br /> included in Appendix H of this report <br /> lie On April 7 and 8, 2003, Shaw personnel conducted a door to door well survey in an attempt to <br /> identify any drinking water or irrigation wells within a 500-foot radius of the property No wells <br /> were discovered in the survey A total of 57 properties were included in the survey radius, with <br /> persons at 30 of the properties responding The properties consisted of residential and <br /> commercial properties There were no visual indications observed of any wells on the properties <br /> Table 6 summarizes the survey data Figure 7 depicts the surrounding properties included in the <br /> survey <br /> r Accordingto the Cit of Trac Department of Public Works potable water for the site and <br /> Y Y p , <br /> surrounding vicinity comes from the Delta Mendota Canal and nine groundwater wells located <br /> throughout the city The nearest municipal supply wells are located over 314-mile to the <br /> southwest and southeast of the site The Delta Mendota Canal is located over five miles to the <br /> south of the site <br /> r <br /> • CNCD104-28-031SHARE\US3703-0027 doe 13 <br />
