An onsite <br /> Ceres Associates personnel is a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-I) in the State of <br /> California. However, any medical emergency will immediately be directed to the nearest hospital. <br /> i. The nearest hospital is located at(see Site Maps for route to hospital): <br /> Sutter Tracy Community Hospital <br /> �. 1420 North Tracy Boulevard CALL 911 <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Monitorina <br /> L Health and safety conditions will be constantly monitored by the Health and Safety officer onsite. <br /> Changes to the site activities,health and safety plan, and other needs will be assessed if necessary. <br /> t. Mitigation of existing hazards <br /> Hazardous conditions are not currently expected on the site. If hazardous conditions are <br /> 5,,,, encountered,the onsite Health and Safety Officer will take steps to ensure that hazards are identified <br /> and mitigated for. <br /> L Contact with chemicals in the form of gas and liquids is possible. During the primary boring stage <br /> of the field activities personnel will avoid breathing in vapors from the bore hole and will ensure <br /> that proper PPE is worn. If upon sampling with the PID or upon other recognized evidence of <br /> i. hazardous conditions the level of PPE required for personnel will be modified to protect personnel <br /> involved in the onsite activities. <br /> Site Control Measures <br /> The site is located within a fenced perimeter.All non-essential personnel,personnel without proper <br /> training, and visitors will be kept outside of the exclusion zone of work. The Health and Safety <br /> Officer will ensure that the site stays secure throughout the working period. If personal safety <br /> becomes an issue the project may be shut down, at the discretion of the Health and Safety officer, <br /> until the issues are mitigated. <br /> Everyone entering the exclusion zone will be made aware of the hazards and of hazardous actions <br /> that are forbidden or should be avoided(e.g., smoking). They will be instructed what to do in case <br /> of an emergency.Visitors will be briefed on basic emergency procedures such as decontamination, <br /> emergency signals, and evacuation routes. <br /> v <br />
