Mike Infurna [EH]
From: John Cooper [jcooper@gercorp.com]
Sent: Friday, October 10, 2008 6:23 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: RE: Lima Ranch boring permit#2
Mike,
As discussed earlier we will be in the field on Monday morning to begin the investigation at Lima Ranch. The
work scope has been revised somewhat from what it was earlier. The deeper boring has been eliminated from
the scope of work, so we will not be installing a conductor casing. The number of exploratory borings has been
reduced to 8. We plan to begin work at the site about 8:00 in the morning. The driller will be there earlier to get
deconned and prepare for the drilling program. The utility locator is scheduled to be there about 8:00 to begin
clearing the proposed boring locations. I anticipate beginning drilling shortly after 8:00. We hope to be finished
with the drilling on Monday, possibly carrying over until Tuesday to complete the work.
will call you as we begin the initial boring and give you an estimate of when we plan to begin abandoning the
borehole. Abandonment will depend on how rapidly the borehole produces water.
See you Monday.
John Cooper
From: Mike Infurna [EH] [mailto:MInfurna@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Friday, October 10, 2008 10:55 AM
To: jcooper@gercorp.com
Subject: Lima Ranch boring permit #2
Per Annie Mosher's request, attached please find the boring permit for 13 soil
borings.
My schedule shows this work is to start Monday, Oct 13.
Please have your field tech call me first thing to advise and set a time for the first
grout inspection. I will need to see the first grout inspection of the day.
Michael J. Infurna Jr.
Senior REHS.
