The WWTP treats and disposes of domestic wastewater and industrial wastewater.
Because flow rates recorded in 1999 exceeded the limits in the waste discharge requirements (WDRs),
the City must submit a report of waste discharge. The City received a notice of violation (NOV) dated 8
February 2000. The NOV was issued because flow rates, minimum freeboard, and dissolved oxygen
were not consistent with Order No. 95-170.
An RWD consists of the Form 200 Application/Report of Waste Discharge General Information
(enclosed) and the information requested in the Additional Questions. Please complete and return
Form 200 and all supporting information to this office by 29 February 2000 so that we may initiate the
WDR update process.
If you have any questions on this request, please telephone me at (916) 255-3116.
TIMOTHY R.
