Groundwater level data from the City of Lodi water supply wells and groundwater monitoring
wells indicate that the first groundwater-bearing zone occurs at a depth of about 50 feet bgs
below the LNC site and ranges from about 45 to 55 feet bgs beneath the northern portion of Lodi.
Historically, groundwater flow is primarily to the south, although the local flow direction may
vary from south-southeast to south-southwest over time. Local groundwater flow directions may
be significantly affected by pumping centers and high capacity wells (i.e., municipal water supply
wells and agriculture-related irrigation supply wells) on a seasonal basis.
M ain\D:AEnvironmentaI\LN CV\10152007.wpd 11
