WZI INC <br /> ' <br /> 70 DECONTAMINATION OF PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT <br /> ' Personnel and equipment will be decontaminated in accordance with the following <br /> g <br /> procedures as approved by WZI <br /> ' All equipment and materials necessary for the decontamination process including, but <br /> not limited to, detergents, solvents, hot water/high pressure washer, buckets and <br /> ' brushes will be available onsite <br /> ' Washwater or decontamination fluids will be collected and held until they can be <br /> properly disposed of following results of laboratory analysis <br /> All personnel shall be decontaminated before leaving the site if contamination is <br /> ' observed or measured by the onsite WZI Manager, as specified in the site health and <br /> safety plan Wash water and solutions remaining after decontamination of equipment <br /> shall be collected in appropriate containers WZI will determine if wastes are <br /> hazardous or non-hazardous Contractor shall dispose of wastes <br /> ' All equipment shall be washed and cleaned as approved by the WZI Manager prior <br /> to initiation of work at the site This includes drive rigs, pipe, rods, samplers, pumps, <br /> ' and any other equipment brought onsite This is done to prevent cross-contamination <br /> between sample locations and any equipment being placed into the ground <br /> Before reuse at any sampling location sampling tools shall be decontaminated as <br /> ' approved by WZI Between each location all driving equipment used in sampling shall <br /> be decontaminated if it becomes coated with discolored soil as determined by the WZI <br /> ' Manager <br /> APPENDIX III <br /> ' 12270020 025 17 <br />
