5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMIIZENDATIONS <br /> With the exception of MTBE detected in the groundwater sample from boring 131-2, there are <br /> no indications of PHCs in soils or groundwater at this site. The total lead concentrations found <br /> in soils are within the range of background levels for the area and well below the TTLC values <br /> set by the State and the preliminary remediation goals set by the US EPA. As outlined above, <br /> the risk posed by MTBE in groundwater in the vicinity of this site appears to be minimal, and <br /> as such there is no significant environmental condition which might constitute an immediate <br /> threat to human health and safety or to the environment.
