' ARCADIS 2009/2010 Annual
Monitoring Report
Union Pacific Railroad
Company
' Former Maintenance Facility
The TEPH-d SG data are used only for qualitative comparisons and are not used to Tracy,California
delineate the dissolved TEPH-d plume. Laboratory reports and the data review
' memoranda are included in Appendix A.
5.0 Laboratory Data Review
Analytical data were reviewed by Conestoga-Rovers &Associates following the Test
Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods, SW-846, 3° Edition
' dated December 1996 and USEPA Contract Laboratory Program National Functional
Guidelines for Low Concentration Organic Data Review dated June 2001.A
memorandum summarizing the data review for each of the sampling events is included
' in Appendix A. No data qualifiers were assigned as a result of the data review.
' 6.0 Results
This section presents the results of groundwater elevations and gradients,free-product
' observations and measurements, and analytical results.
6.1 Groundwater Elevations and Gradients
Table 2 presents the depth-to-groundwater measurements and groundwater
elevations. November 2009 groundwater elevation contour maps for the A-Zone and B-
' Zone wells are presented on Figures 3 and 4, respectively. March 2010 groundwater
elevation contour maps for the A-Zone and B-Zone wells are presented on Figures 5
and 6, respectively. The groundwater gradients for the 2009/2010 reporting period are
' summarized here:
• The November 2009 data indicate the gradient in the A-Zone was toward the
' north-northeast at approximately 0.003 feettfoot (ft/ft). The gradient in the B-Zone
was also toward the north-northeast at approximately 0.002 ft/ft.
• The March 2010 data indicated the gradient in the A-Zone was toward the
northeast at approximately 0.003 ft/ft.The gradient in the B-Zone was also toward
the northeast at approximately 0.003 Wit.
' • Groundwater gradients were not calculated for the C-Zone due to limited data.
1
P:WflG4GIS_DaeWgecbPdrve.Gnbn Pedflc pahoad,R M-Tm YGW.W11A rom1QGl Tl YeN GW'e➢02'IIGFIWLL.2W&2010RMel
' Page:3/7
