Woodruff <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> Groundwater Well Locations <br /> Phase II Site Assessment <br /> Alden Park Area <br /> ' Tracy, California <br /> ' As requested by the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) during <br /> our telephone conversation of March 19, 1987, we are transmitting the <br /> results of our field investigation to locate the edge of the buried <br /> concrete slab and the locations we are proposing for installation of six <br /> (6) groundwater observation wells. The location of the slab and the well <br /> ' locations are shown on the attached Plate 1 , Site Plan. <br /> Dames 6 Moore has collected soil samples from the front or backyards of <br /> 113 homes in the vicinity of Alden Park. Locations where this sampling has <br /> been conducted are also shown on Plate 1. Samples were generally collected <br /> ' to a depth of 9 ft and submitted for analysis for oil and grease content. <br /> In yards where the concrete slab was likely to be encountered, additional <br /> ' probes were advanced in order to confirm the presence or absence of the <br /> slab at that location. Four additional probe transects were conducted in <br /> ' the park and along the park green belts to further establish the location <br /> of the slab perimeter (Plate 1). <br /> ' C/K2 <br />
