6.0 HAZARD CRACTERISTICS, MONITORING M THODS, AND <br /> PROTECTION REQUIRED <br /> t 6. 1 EXPOSURE LIMITS AND RECOGNITION QUALITIES <br /> Information concerning exposure limits and' <br /> .rrcagnitian qualities <br /> of the contaminants that are suspected to be on the site is <br /> presented in Table i in the Appendix. <br /> 6.2 SYMPTOMS OF OVEREXPOSURE, POTENTIAL CHRONIC -EFFECTS AND <br /> FIRST AID TREATMENT <br /> Symptoms of overexposure to the suspected contaminants, potential <br /> chronic effects of these substances and first aid treatment <br /> Information is presented in Table 2 in the Appendix. <br /> ' 6.3 MONITORING METHODS, ACTION LEVELS AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES <br /> Methods for monitoring for suspected contaminants, action levels <br /> and protective measures to be used for various contaminant <br /> concentration levels are presented in Table 3 in the Appendix. <br /> 6.4 PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR ONSITE ACTIVITIES <br /> The protective equipment required may vary, dependent on the <br /> F concentrations and dispersion of contaminants encountered <br /> 5� during each phase of the work.
