Use CALIBRATE Knob to "zero" out ambient background. Place probe- in the atmosphere to be monitored. If the needle <br /> moves to the upper limit of the scale, change the calibrate <br /> switch to the next position. <br /> 9. 2.2 Shutdown <br /> 1 . Close the H2 SUPPLY VALVE and the H2 TANK VALVE. <br /> a� 2. Move the INSTR Switch and PUMP Switch to OFF> <br /> 3. Instrument is now in shutdown configuration. <br /> 9.3 TLV SNIFFER <br /> 9.3. 1 Battery Check <br /> 1. Turn MODE selector knob from OFF position to BATT TEST <br /> position.
