We would contact you for authorization, <br /> L however, before proceeding with any additional service. <br /> • This proposal will be adequate to obtain authorization from the <br /> PHS/EHD. If a more comprehensive workplan is necessary, additional <br /> charge for workplan preparation will be incurred. <br /> e Adequate work space and access will be provided. Kleinfe-lder ,will <br /> attempt to advance, the soil borings at the proposed Iocations. If the <br /> drilling equipment cannot be positioned, alternative drilling locations or <br /> sampling methods should be investigated. The borings are to be drilled <br /> with a truck mounted drill rig equipped with hollow stem augers. If <br /> alternative drilling methods or concrete cutting are required, additional <br /> costs may be incurred. <br /> • Adequate power and lighting will be available for all field work. If not <br /> available, additional charges may be borne by the client. <br /> • No respiratory protection or shoring will e necessary. ,. <br /> • Soil and watengenerated during the drilling and sampling will be the <br /> responsibility'of the client and disposal costs have not been included in <br /> our estimate. Soil cuttings will be placed on plastic and covered. Water <br /> generated from development and/or purging the wells along with <br /> equipment decontamination rinseate will be placed in 55-gallon drums <br /> and left adjacent to the soil boring. Disposal or remediation options for <br /> the soil and water can be assessed once analytical results have been <br /> received at an additional charge.
