AGE will <br /> notify the EI-ID a minimum of 48 hours prior to commencement of any work. Prior to mobilization, <br /> the area,6fexcavation*111 be clearly marked and an utility clearance obtained through Underground <br /> Service Alert. <br /> 3?. INSTALLATION OF SOIL BORINGS AND REMEDIATION WELLS <br /> Based on soil data collected during the ongoing investigation of petroleum-hydrocarbon impact,AGE <br /> proposes installation of two additional soil borings and three sets of SVE wells, comprised of one <br /> shallow well and one deep we1L in the following areas: <br /> • A soil boring east of well MW-1, to a depth of 70 feet bsg; <br /> • A soil boring at the location of soil boring B6, angle drilled to a vertical depth of 70 feet bsg; <br /> • A set of'SVE wells in the former UST area, at well MW-l; <br /> • A set of SVE wells approximately 10 feet south of boring 134, and <br /> • A set of SVE wells at well MW-3. <br /> Proposed borings and SVE well locations are illustrated in Figure 2; soil vapor well installation <br /> procedures are described in Section 4.2. <br /> 3.3 SOIL SAMPLE ANALYSIS <br /> Selected soil samples fxom depths of 30 feet to 60 feet bsg or greater, collected from the borings and <br /> deep vapor wells will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services (DHS)- <br /> certified laboratory for the following constituents: <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA Method 8015 <br /> Modified; <br /> • Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) and methyl tertiary butyl ether(M.TBE) in <br /> accordance with EPA Method 8020; and <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
