Site Health and Safety Plan
ENSAFE RS&H
Stockton Metropolitan Airport, Stockton, California
January 27, 2020
decontamination will be performed in stainless steel buckets, on HDPE sheeting, using water that is
laboratory-certified PFAS-free.
Decontamination will be conducted at the wellhead, even if the equipment has been decontaminated
after its last use. Clean sampling equipment will not be placed directly on the ground or other
contaminated surfaces prior to insertion into the well.
INVESTIGATION DERIVED WASTE MANAGEMENT
IDW, in the form of surface soil cuttings and purge water, will be generated during field activities.
Decontamination liquids will also be generated. IDW will be containerized in 55-gallon drums,
properly labelled, and staged in a pre-designated area onsite. EnSafe assumes that one composite
sample per media will be used to profile IDW drums.
SITE RESTORATION
Upon completion of soil boring activities, disturbed surfaces will be restored to pre-existing conditions.
All equipment and supplies used during the investigation will be removed at the end of field activities.
IDW will be staged in a temporary storage area identified by the SCK POC until characterization is
complete and the waste is approved for pick-up and disposal.
11
