Drilling spoils will be containerized in 55 gallon steel drums <br /> pending sample analysis. Boreholes will be backfilled under the inspection <br /> of San Joaquin Local Health District with cement-bentonite grout placed by <br /> free fall. <br /> 3. Drill three new borings to 8 feet depth in the vacant land west of the <br /> building to determine the lateral extent of contamination. The first boring <br /> will be approximately 15-20 feet north of Soil Boring No. B-15, in vertical <br /> line with Monitoring Well No. 3 (MW-3). The second boring will be located <br /> equidistant between MW-3 and Soil Boring No. B-16. The third boring will <br /> be located approximately 15-20 feet south of Soil Boring No. B-16 in <br /> vertical line with MW-3. Soil samples will be taken at 2, 4, 6, and 8 foot <br /> depths in these three borings. Drilling spoils will be containerized in 55 <br /> gallon steel drums pending sample analysis. Boreholes will be backfilled <br /> under the inspection of San Joaquin Local Health District with cement- <br /> bentonite grout placed by free fall. <br /> Included with this permit application/letter are copies of all correspondence from <br /> DHS provided to Clayton Environmental Consultants by Ms. Sheridan Randolph, <br /> Boring and Monitoring Well Location Map depicting locations of both proposed <br /> and previous soil borings, and existing monitoring wells, completed Authorization <br /> to Release form, completed Application for Permit, and check for $35.00. <br /> Spectrum Exploration, drilling contractor for this job, has copies of license and <br /> workman's compensation insurance on file with your office. <br /> Thank you for your time in processing this permit application.
