Mr, Dennis Abrahafton <br /> • Attachment A <br /> Simpson Paper Company <br /> January 17 , 1992 <br /> (2) Prepare contract documents and specifications for <br /> the production wells and the deep monitoring wells. <br /> Lawrence & Associates to administer and negotiate with outside <br /> contractors for completion of all work. Simpson to sign prepared <br /> contracts and pay directly for outside drilling services. <br /> Documents to contain all necessary forms, provisions, and <br /> specifications to accomplish the work, complete. <br /> (3) Drilling inspection, logginq, and aquifer testing <br /> All production wells and monitoring wells will be inspected and <br /> logged during their construction by a geologist. Following <br /> drilling and completion of the wells a drilling report will be <br /> prepared on the monitoring wells and the production wells (two <br /> separate reports) providing geologist log, drillers log, <br /> construction completion details, water levels, E-logs (where <br /> applicable) , and other pertinent data. <br /> Following completion of production Wells 6 and 7 , 24-hour <br /> constant-discharge aquifer tests will be conducted on each well <br /> by a geologist. Each well will be used as an observation well for <br /> the other, and both drawdown and recovery measurements will be <br /> made in the pumping and observation wells. A separate report on <br /> the data and analysis of the aquifer tests will be made. <br /> (4) Furnish submersible pumps, meters, and well-head <br /> plumbing for Wells 6 and 7 . <br /> Following aquifer testing and evaluation of yield from Wells 6 <br /> and 7 , the long-term yield will be determined and a pump selected <br /> for each well that is compatible with the long-term yield, head <br /> conditions, and plant requirements.
