Data
from water level measurements shall be used to construct ground water contour
maps showing the direction of ground water flow in the aquifers beneath the
Ripon Mill property. Ground water contour maps shall be submitted with the
quarterly monitoring reports. Contour maps shall be constructed using feet
above mean sea level .
Ground water at each monitoring well shall be analyzed for pH, Electrical
Conductivity, water level (above mean sea level ) , and turbidity in the field.
Quarterly laboratory tests shall be made on samples from each well .
Parameters to be tested are: Total Dissolved Solids, chloride, sulfate,
nitrate and sodium. All laboratory parameters shall be reported in milligrams
per liter.
Field and laboratory tests shall be reported in the quarterly monitoring
reports. Electrical Conductivity results shall be submitted on a site contour
map. All parameters shall be graphed so as to show historical trends at each
well .
SURFACE WATER MONITORING
By 1 January 1992, the Discharger shall propose a revised surface water
monitoring program consisting of at least one upstream station and one
downstream station. The Discharger should consider utilizing existing
monitoring stations
Surface water samples shall be sampled at upstream and downstream stations
during the first storm of the rainy season which produces significant flow and
shall be analyzed for the following:
Type of Sampling
Constituents Units Sample Frequency
Water level feet (MSL) -- Quarterly
