The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for LOPEZ CUSTOM COMPOSITES as of January 08 , 2020 . <br /> Open violations from November 22, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation #303 - Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems , spill control , or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: During the inspection the eye wash near the paint booth was tested and brown water came out. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems , fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required , shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Bring the eye wash into proper working order by repair, replacement or testing. Provide a <br /> corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #403 - Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing <br /> hazardous waste . <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site : <br /> -Two open white metal 55 gallon drums of waste resin were observed in the hazardous waste storage area . One <br /> drum had an unsecured lid and one drum did not have a lid . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage , except when it is necessary to add or remove waste . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste .
