PROJECT DESCRIPTION FOR U.P. -88-16
F.W. CATTLE COMPANY, a California Corporation and Robert
Ronyak intends to carry out certain uses on Real Property
identified as Assessors Parcel No. 241-400-18 and Assessors
Parcel No. 241-400-120 . These uses are a continuation of
existing use and are not new use . These uses include:
A. LIVESTOCK FEEDING USE.
The feeding use consists of existing fenced holding
corrals and feed mangers located on approximately 2 acres,
plus existing fenced alleys , loading chutes and hay storage
areas. Corral areas include animal loafing mounds . Moist
feeds are fed on concrete/steel type mangers to control vec-
tor and odor.
A component of the feeding use is a tomato/vegetable
by-product silage operation. The silage material is produced
form fresh tomatoe/vegetable by-products received from canner-
ies and delivered by trucks to on-site storage pits . The
silage is removed from the storage pits as required for feed,
and additional product is delivered from the canneries during
the canning season. The silage storage pits are lined with
concrete and masonry. Through customary operating practices ,
including plastic covering and water drainage pond, the si-
lage pits do not create a vector or odor nuisance problem.
Two existing silage pits, each approximately 60 feet by 250
-1-
