The below information is from Tony Palma; "In addition to this email which provides the IEH-JL Analytical's Certificate of Analysis the ICPMS/Element-CAM 17 for our Latex Paint Sample, I will forward you a second email containing the Lab's Invoice for the testing. I talked to the Lab's Chemist (Amos)today about the significance of the test results as it relates to the latex flat paint we are using at the mill and whether he would considered the elements of the paint falling into the Category of"Hazardous Waste". Amos reviewed the test results and concluded that test results DID NOT qualify as Hazardous Waste. He further explained: First test of the elements of the our paint sample-Total Threshold Limit Concentration (TTLC)-the testing results of all the elements did not exceed the TTLC. In fact all were a elements were significantly lower across the board. He cited following limits on a few the test elements: Element TTLC. STLC-Max Barium. 4370 mg/kg. . 10,000 mg/kg Zinc. 1.56 5,000. " Lead. 0.19. 1,000. " If any of the elements exceeded TTLC,the a second test Soluble Threshold Limit Concentration(STLC)would have done to confirm a Hazardous Material Classification.
