BUILDING DIVISION <br /> ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS: <br /> The Ordinance Requirements listed below have been identified as <br /> pertinent to this project. Other Ordinance Requirements may also <br /> apply. Ordinance Requirements cannot be modified. <br /> a. The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin Ordinance <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in <br /> the construction plans before submittal to the Building <br /> Inspection Division: <br /> 1. Exterior wall less than 20 feet from a property line <br /> shall be of one-hour, fire-resistive construction. <br /> 2 . The proposed use will change the occupancy from a B-2 <br /> (office) to a E-1 (classroom) occupancy (U.B.C. Section <br /> 502) . The structure must be brought into compliance with <br /> all current code provisions including structural, <br /> plumbing, mechanical, electrical, energy and handicap <br /> requirements. <br /> 3 . Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access <br /> requirements (C.C.R. , Title 24) . <br /> b. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> 1. Provide parking for the physically handicapped. The <br /> spaces shall be located as close as possible to the <br /> primary entrance (C.C.R. , Title 24) . <br /> 2 . Provide identification tow signs for the parking spaces <br /> including the "tow away" sign at each entrance or visible <br /> from each space (C.C.R. , Title 24) . <br /> 3 . The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch <br /> per foot (C.C.R. , Title 24) . <br /> NOTE: Provide permit for the modular classroom. <br />
