3 MONITORING WELL DEVELOPMENT AND WELL SURVEYING
<br /> Well development for both wells was completed on May 3, 2006. The wells were first
<br /> bailed in attempts to surge and remove large sediment from the sand pack and the
<br /> surrounding stratigraphy. During well development, field parameters were taken for
<br /> pH, Electrical Conductance (EC), temperature and turbidity. Stable field parameter
<br /> readings were observed in order to assess aquifer representation. Bailing proceeded
<br /> until discharge water was relatively sediment free, and turbidity readings were low.
<br /> Once sediment had been removed a submersible pump was used to finalize
<br /> development for each well. The submersible pump was used to pump out any fine
<br /> grained material and achieve the lowest possible turbidity. At a minimum at least ten
<br /> pore volumes were removed for each well. A total of 175 gallons of water were
<br /> removed from well MW-11 during well development. The turbidity was observed at
<br /> 5.64 NTU, pH stabilized at 6.64 and Specific Conductance (SC) stabilized at 1,010
<br /> µmhos/cm. For well MW-10, a total of 176 gallons of water was removed. The turbidity
<br /> j was 5.52 NTU, pH was 6.78, and a Specific Conductance at 1,232 µmhos/cm was noted.

<br /> The new and preexisting monitoring wells were surveyed in May 11, 2006 by Giuliani
<br /> ` and Kull, Inc. Table 1 provides horizontal coordinates and measuring point elevations
<br /> for each well relative to an on site datum.
