Labels
• Sample labels will contain the following information:
•
• • Project number
• • Sample number (i.e., well designation)
•
• • Sample depth
• Sampler's initials
•
• • Date and time of collection
• Type of preservation used (if any)
• 3. Sampling and Analysis Chain-of-Custody Record
The chain-of-custody record will be initiated at the time of sampling, and contain at a
minimum the sample designation (including the depth at which the sample was
• collected), sample type, analytical request, date of sampling, and the name of the sampler.
• The record sheet will be signed, timed, and dated by the sampler when transferring the
• samples to the laboratory or courier. The number of custodians in the chain of possession
• will be minimized. A copy of the chain-of-custody record will be returned with the
analytical results.
•
•
•
• Riverbank WWTP Workplan Nolte Associates,Inc.
• March 2005 A-4 \\SasO\project\SA1542Mon_well\new\gw wiwp\wp.doc
•
