Interim Remedial Action Plan Former FISCO WAREHOUSE (Howard Lenz Property) 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton, California 1.0. INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr. Peter Lenz,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this work plan for soil remediation at 1648 Shaw Road,Stockton,California(site).The scope of this work plan is to detail the design, installation and operation of a carbon-based soil vapor extraction (SVE) system for interim remediation at the site. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2. AGE recommended the use of SVE to remediate the hydrocarbons impacted soil at the site in the AGE-prepared Interim Correction Action Plan, dated 20 January 2005 (AGE, January 2005). The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) concurred with AGE recommendation in letters dated 14 February, 26 July and 21 September 2005.This work plan is prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks(UST)sites.Additional site background information is provided in AGE, January 2005 and in Appendix A. .l 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK Based on the results based on an SVE pilot test performed at the site in January 2002,AGE proposes to install,operate and maintain mitran interim SVE remediation system utilizing existing SVE wells VW-1, VW-2 and VW-3 and existing monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3. Interim remediation field activities will consist of the following tasks: • Permitting and pre-field work activities; • Installation of underground remediation piping system; • Installation of soil vapor extraction system; • Interim remediation start-up period; • Monitoring and maintenance; • Preparation of reports.
