Remediation Confirmation Work Plan Former FISCO WAREHOUSE (Howard Lenz Property) 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton, California 1.0. INTRODUCTION At the request of Mr.Peter Lenz,on behalf of Mrs.Alice G.Lenz,Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Remediation Confirmation Work Plan for 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton, California (site). In accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) letter dated 02 January 2009 (Appendix B),the scope of work includes advancement of two confirmation soil probe borings for collection and analyses of soil samples to evaluate the effectiveness of soil vapor extraction (SVE) remediation at the site. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information is provided in Appendix A. This workplan has been prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines for investigation of underground storage tanks (UST) sites. The SVE system began operation on 19 January 2006 with a total of 3,451 lbs of total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) extracted since the system began operation. TPH-g concentrations were declining or below detection levels and appeared to be reaching an asymptotic plateau,therefore,on 30 May 2008,the SVE unit was taken off-line for an EHD-approved"rebound" period. On 27 October 2008, after approximately 5 months of SVE cessation, the SVE system was brought on-line for rebound testing to determine if hydrocarbon concentrations in soil vapor remained at or below detection limits.Results of rebound testing conducted during the fourth quarter 2008 indicated the hydrocarbon mass remaining in soil had been reduced to a level that could no longer be successfully remediated by SVE. Rebound testing ended on 17 December 2008, and the SVE system was taken off.-line. 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work includes the advancement of two confirmation soil borings for collection of soil samples.
