Photos of <br /> properly labeled waste containers are provided in Attachment 1. <br /> Lead Acid Battery Management-#607 <br /> During the inspection,a damaged lead-acid vehicle battery was observed to not be labeled with an <br /> accumulation start date. The damaged battery was in an acid-resistant plastic bag to prevent the <br /> release of acid and lead. The date of accumulation was placed on the container. Battery handling <br /> and storage requirements were reviewed with applicable staff and emphasized the requirement to <br /> ensure that damaged batteries are managed properly. <br /> Used Oil Filter Management-#608 <br /> During the inspection, a container of used oil metal filters was observed to be overfilled with the <br /> lid not properly secured. The used oil filters from the overfilled container were placed into two <br /> containers so that both containers could be securely closed.
