7.0 DECONTAMINATION <br /> The following decontamination (cleansing/disposal) procedures for equipment and PPE have been <br /> developed with the intent of reducing the potential for the transfer of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted <br /> soil from the site(s). Decontamination should be performed in direct proximity to each work area or in <br /> accordance with the Work Zones described in Section 4.0. <br /> 7_1 Equipment Decontamination <br /> Decontamination of sampling equipment shall include washing with a solution of Alconox and water <br /> and rinsing with water before vacating work area. <br /> 7.2 PPE Decontamination <br /> Personnel shall remove inner gloves and wash face and hands with hand soap and tap water and <br /> rinsing with tap water before leaving the site and/or eating. Remove all loose soil from boots before re- <br /> entering vehicles. <br /> A drum shall be available at the Exclusion Zone to store/dispose of potentially impacted consumables. <br /> The disposition of this waste will be determined prior to the termination of work. <br /> Project No.S8475-06-70 -20- April 25,2003 <br />
