1
' 21 August 2000
iAGE-NC Project No 97-0343
The analytical results of water samples collected in July 2000 are summarized on Table 2 The
laboratory report (AAL Order No A00072609), QA/QC report and chain-of-custody form. are
Included in Appendix B
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS I
IBased on the data collected from the site, AGE finds
• Ground water flow at the site was determined to be toward the northeast with a nearly flat
gradient of 0 001 feet/feet Ground water flow direction at the site has rotated approximately
180 degrees since the March 2000 molutoring event, however, this is likely due to the
relatively flat ground water table Relative ground water elevations at the site decreased an
average of 11 59 feet since the March 2000 monitoring event The significant fluctuation in
ground water flow direction and relative ground water elevation at the site this quarter is
' potentially influenced by the nearby Stockton Diverting Canal
• Concentrations of'I PH-g and BTh&X compounds significantly decreased since the March
2000 monitoring event Concentrations of TPH-d decreased in well MW 1 and increased
I • slightly in wells MW2 and MW3 since the March 2000 monitoring event Fuel oxygenates
were not detected in the ground water samples collected at the site
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report, AGE recommends
g ,
• Continued quarterly monitoring of the ground water monitoring wells on-site The next
monitoring event should be performed in October 2000
• Installation of additional monitoring wells to define the lateral extent of impacted ground
water
60. LIMITATIONS
IOur professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluation of the hydrogeologic conditions
• at the site for the purpose of this Investigation was made from a limited number of available data
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
