1 <br />' Interim Corrective Action Plan <br /> FORMER FISCO WAREHOUSE (Howard Lenz Property) <br />' 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton, California <br />' 10 INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Mr Peter Lenz of Innovative Beverage Brokers,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />' (AGE) has prepared this Interim Corrective Action Plan (ICAP) for 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton, <br /> California(site) The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 A map of the site showing wells <br /> Iand structures is illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> The purpose of this ICAP is to summarize the preliminary investigation and evaluation of the <br /> subsurface release on the site, to describe the lateral and vertical extent of the impact of fuel <br /> components to soil and ground water and to evaluate the feasibility and costs of several remedial <br /> action alternatives for impacted soil and ground water at the site This report also includes portions <br />' of a problem assessment report and a site conceptual model (SCM) which illustrates the overall <br /> impact of the hydrocarbons to the subsurface This ICRP was prepared in accordance with guidelines <br /> established by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) for preliminary <br /> investigation and evaluation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located in a commercial area of low topographic relief in east Stockton, California, at an <br /> approximate elevation of 25 feet above mean sea level The site is bounded on the north and east by <br /> the Stockton Diverting Channel, on the west by State Highway 99 and on the south by Shaw Road <br /> (Figure 2) Golden West Irrigation, an agricultural irrigation supply and distributing facility, <br /> presently occupies the property <br /> 2 1 REGIONAL GEOLOGIC/HYDROGEOLOGIC SETTING <br /> The property is situated within the Great Valley Geomorphic Province of California, a large, <br /> elongate, northwest trending, asymmetric structural trough The Great Valley Province has been <br /> filled with thick sequences of sediment ranging in age from Jurassic to Recent,creating a nearly flat- <br /> lying alluvial plain,extending from the Tehachapi Mountains in the south to the Klamath Mountains <br /> in the north The western and eastern boundaries of this province are comprised of the California <br /> Coast Range and the Sierra Nevada, respectively Rocks composing the basement complex of the <br /> province have not been completely defined but are believed to be metamorphic and igneous origin <br /> The northern and southern portions of the Great Valley Province have been designated the <br /> Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys, respectively <br /> The Modesto, Riverbank,Turlock Lake Formations and overlying recent alluvium are the principal <br /> source of domestic ground water in the 13,500-square-mile San Joaquin Valley Ground WaterBasin <br /> Advanced Geo Environmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
