1 4
' Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2002
• Former Fisco Warehouse (Howard Lenz Property)
' 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton, California
' 1.0. INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr Peter Lenz of Innovative Beverage Brokers,Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc
' (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton,
California The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1 Structures, boring and well
' locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Background information is summarized in the AGE-prepared
Preliminary Site Investigation Report, dated 30 December 1997
' 2.0. PROCEDURES
' Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the sampling of ground water monitoring wells and
Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for investigation of
' underground storage tank (UST) sites
'• 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
On 07 August 2002, a Soiinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in
Imonitoring wells MW 1 through MW5 and MW7 relative to the tops of the well casings, well MW6
could not be accessed and subsequently was not monitored Depth measurements in wells MW 1
through MW3 were probably inaccurate because there was only 0 2 inch of water in these wells
f (Appendix A),consequently, water depths in these wells were not utilized for ground water elevation
and gradient determinations
' After recording water level measurements, disposable plastic bailers were used to purge wells MW4,
MW5 and MW7 of standing water There was an insufficient amount of ground water in wells MW 1,
' MW2, MW3 and MW7, subsequently these wells were not purged or sampled
Approximately 0 5 to 2 gallons of water were purged from MW4, MW5 and MW7 Ground water
temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals dunng purging using an Oakton
water analyzer Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT-approved drums Field
sheets and data are included in Appendix A
22 COLLECTION OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
A water sample was collected from each purged well using the disposable bailer after allowing the
wells to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume Each water sample was
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
I
