California law <br /> requires a person to inform the state if a situation is encountered that can be considered an <br /> immediate endangerment to the public's health or welfare and/or to the environment. Kleinfelder selects reputable subcontractors, but does not have full <br /> control over the time required by said companies. <br /> ASSUMPTIONS AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> The proposed scope of services and estimated budget are based on the following: <br /> • The cover letter (attached) is an integral part of this proposal. <br /> • HCB will assist Kleinfelder in obtaining access to the site and owner authorization for the <br /> proposed sampling. <br /> • Adequate work space and access will be provided. Kleinfelder will attempt to advance <br /> soil push probes and collect samples at the proposed locations.
