The report was delivered to the business on 6/9/2016. The violations on the 6/9/3016 inspection report <br />were: <br />- Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report <br />- Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination equipment <br />- Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days <br />- Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br />written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br />subdivision (a) of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br />department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require, which shall include a statement documenting <br />corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator, for <br />purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation. The local agency, the San <br />Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, requires response within 30 days. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Department. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br />equipment. <br />OBSERVATION: <br />The fire extinguishers in the facility are not being serviced annually. The last service date was August 2016 (see <br />photo IMG 0691). <br />The pressure gauge on the fire extinguisher, located in the north-west corner of the facility, indicates that the fire <br />extinguisher needs to be recharged (IMG 0690). <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to <br />assure its proper operation in time of emergency. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the facility's fire extinguishers into proper working order by repair, replacement or <br />testing.
