345 North San Joaquin Chronology <br /> Page 2 k <br /> 11/10/93 Three underground storage tanks were removed and subsequently replaced <br /> with an upgraded tank. Soil excavation of contaminated soil was initiated <br /> and confirmation soil samples collected through November 18, 1993. See <br /> the attached summary of soil sample analytical results. <br /> ~ 1994 <br /> 07/08/94 After numerous attempts, three soil borings, VW 1 - VW3, were drilled and <br /> sampled to determine the extent of soil contamination evidenced in the <br /> basement area, associated with the two underground storage tanks which <br /> were closed in-place. See the previous summary of basement soil sample <br /> analytical results. <br /> 07/27/94 Two confirmation soil borings were drilled and converted into vapor <br /> extraction/bioventing wells (VW.A - VWB), to be used should soil <br /> contamination prove to pose a threat to groundwater..
