345 North San Joaquin Chronology
Page 2 k
11/10/93 Three underground storage tanks were removed and subsequently replaced
with an upgraded tank. Soil excavation of contaminated soil was initiated
and confirmation soil samples collected through November 18, 1993. See
the attached summary of soil sample analytical results.
~ 1994
07/08/94 After numerous attempts, three soil borings, VW 1 - VW3, were drilled and
sampled to determine the extent of soil contamination evidenced in the
basement area, associated with the two underground storage tanks which
were closed in-place. See the previous summary of basement soil sample
analytical results.
07/27/94 Two confirmation soil borings were drilled and converted into vapor
extraction/bioventing wells (VW.A - VWB), to be used should soil
contamination prove to pose a threat to groundwater.. See the attached
summary of confirmatory sidewalk soil sample analytical results.
1995 - 1996
Closure/site certification evaluation was initiated.
Attachments
Soil
Basement area
Summary of basement soil sample results: 1990 and 1994
Maps of basement soil sample results
Monitoring wells
Soil results from the installation of monitoring wells, MW1 ,- MW3.
Boring logs for MW 1 - MW3
Sidewalk area
Soil results from soil borings 1993 and 1994 and from the excavation
Boring logs for S61 - SB6 and VWA - VWB
Maps from soil borings and excavation
Cross-sections
Water
Groundwater results
i
