All information regard•-ing work <br /> to be performed, emergency procedures, and health and <br /> safety hazards will be reviewed before the work begins <br /> during a daily tail-gate safety meeting. No work will <br /> be performed without completing these procedures. <br /> Respiratory protective equipment will be on site. <br /> Contaminated protective equipment, such as respirator, <br /> hoses, boots, etc. , shall not be removed from the <br /> regulated area until it has been cleaned, properly <br /> packaged, and labeled. <br /> Legible and understandable precautionary labels shall <br /> be affixed prominently to containers of contaminated <br /> scap, waste, debris, and clothing. <br /> Removal of contaminated soil from protective clothing <br /> or equipment by blowing, shaking, or any other means <br /> that disperses contaminants into the air is prohibited. <br /> No food or beverages shall be present or consumed in <br /> the regulated area. <br /> No tobacco products shall be present or used, and <br /> cosmetics shall not be applied in the regulated area. <br /> A complete IT approved first-aid kit will be readily <br /> --. available onsite. <br /> If a serious injury occurs, the local emergency <br /> response team will be summoned to tend to and evacuate <br /> 4-23 <br /> t <br />
