, T _ <br /> Site Safety Plan - All person entering the site shall be <br /> informed of the contents of the site Health and Safety plan. <br /> This site specific training shall address: <br /> Acute and chronic effects of the toxic chemicals <br /> identified at the site, including odors and conditions <br /> likely to indicate the presence of site-specific <br /> chemicals. <br /> - Physical health hazards identified at the site. <br /> Personal hygiene. <br /> - Safety equipment, the procedures required for personnel <br /> protection, and their effectiveness and limitations. <br /> - Proper use of respirators. <br /> - Work areas established at the site. <br /> - Prohibitions in contaminated areas.- <br /> - Change in site operations. <br /> - Medical examinations. <br /> 4.4.3 Tailgate Safety Meetings <br /> A tailgate safety meeting will be conducted at the beginning of <br /> + each shift or whenever new employees arrive at the job site once <br /> the job commences. The health and safety considerations for the <br /> day's activities will be discussed, and the necessary protective <br /> equipment outlined. The tailgate safety meeting will be <br /> documented on the Tailgate Safety Meeting Form. <br /> 4.5 SITE MONITORING <br /> Periodic monitoring will be conducted, at a minimum, during the <br /> initial stages of any new work activity and until assurances are <br /> achieved that indicate airborne levels of contaminants are below <br /> action levels.
