The Project FC will be on-site during all project related activities or will delegate <br /> his responsibilities to qualified supervisory personnel (i.e., person(s) having 8-hours of <br /> supervisory training in addition to OSHA's 40-hour 29 CFR 1910.120 training), as <br /> appropriate. <br /> Other responsibilities include: <br /> • Reading and being familiar with the Project HASP, as well as appropriate IT <br /> Policies and Procedures; <br /> • Stopping work as required to ensure personnel safety and protection of property, <br /> or where life or property threatening noncompliance with safety requirements are <br /> found; <br /> • Monitoring the use of required protective clothing and safe work practices; <br /> • Determining and posting mutes to capable medical facilities and emergency <br /> telephone numbers (including poison control facilities), and arranging emergency <br /> transportation to medical facilities; <br /> • Notifying local public emergency officers of the nature of the operations, and <br /> posting of their telephone numbers in an appropriate location; <br /> • Conducting and documenting required project specific training; <br /> • Observing project personnel for signs of chemical or physical trauma; <br /> • Conducting job site safety audits at least weekly; <br /> • Ensuring that all personnel have been given the proper medical clearance, have <br /> f ti met appropriate training requirements, and have the appropriate documentation <br /> R posted in the work area; <br /> • Monitoring project personnel to ensure compliance with the HASP; <br /> • Establishing Work Zones as appropriate; <br /> • Presenting tailgate safety meetings and maintaining attendance records; <br /> • Monitoring that decontamination procedures are meeting established criteria.; <br /> • Acting as Project Hazard Communication Coordinator as required by 29 CFR <br /> ! 1910.1200; <br /> • Responding to employee's/contractor's health and safety concerns; and <br /> Periodically auditing subcontractor qualifications to ensure only properly <br /> qualified personnel are allowed in the work area. <br /> 1 The Project FC is Daniel Bannon. <br /> 2.5 On-Site Health and Safety Coordinator <br /> The Project FC will also serve as the On-Site Health and Safety Coordinator during this work. <br /> Thus, he will be responsible for ensuring complete compliance with the HASP by all <br /> mo5-09-94/asr/A4W4 2-4 <br />
