SM JOMIN
STREET, STOCKTON.
Please be advised that this office has reviewed documents submitted for the
above referenced site. Our comments are as followst
REVIEN OF ADDEMAIM TO MILMM EMITTER JIVE 5--
We
.We have found the work plan to be adequate provided the following
considerations are addressed in the Preliminary Report or Soil Remediation
Plan:
1. We suggest the following to assure the site definition is comprehensive:
A. Perform at least one continuous care drilling in order to
illustrate, in cross-sectional diagrams the site stratigraphy.
8. Submit, as a minimum, the bottom of the hole samples for
laboratory analyses to verify ":era line" contamination.
C. If groundwater is encountered during drilling, a sample shall be
collected and sent to a California certified laboratory for
analyses. Refer to Table P, Appendix A of Tri-Regional Staff
Recommendations (enclosed) for the Minimum Verification Analyses
to be performed for soil and groundwater.
P. Residual contaminants remaining at the conclusion of the investigation
attempt shall be addressed. Include a feasibility study for each option
proposed.
3. A copy of the manifest or bill-of-lading should be submitted this office
as proof of disposition of the soil.
The Preliminary Report or Soil Remediation Plan shall be submitted to the San
Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division and the
Regional Water Quality Control Board for concurrent review no later than
October 189 1989.
We are enclosing Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations and Appendix A for
your reference in compiling reports and work plans for review.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
