is added to engines and components and shipped with the
end product . The used oil is sent to a waste oil recycle
facility.
188 Octane Aviation Fuel - 1888 gals. in above ground
portable storage tank - This fuel is consumed during the .
testing of jet engines. This tank is kept empty until an
, engine is ready to be tested. The tank is then filled
. '
' with the amount of fuel required for that test . Thus far
we average two engine tests per year .. ; ,
a. e . Possible noise emissions (Cnel measurement) at property
lines of both the 18 acre area and the 75 acre parcel ?
At our present facility there are no noise emissions. At
the proposed Stockton site , the only noise would be
generated by taxiing jet and turboprop aircraft . I do not
know what level of noise is generated by a taxiing
aircraft . The Stockton airport managers office would
probably have an idea of this measurement . Our testing of
jet engines will take place in an enclosed sound baffled
test cell . The noise generated by the testing of engines
would not be heard outside of the test facility.
It would appear that Aero Turbine will be installing and
operation our own waste facility as no other waste
facilities seem to be available at the present time .
f . Proposed methods of drainage , taking into account the
sizing limitations of Weber Creek and the inability to
use ponds?
This question shall be answered by the engineering firm
of Quartaroli and Associates.
g. How much area may be used for outdoor storage , and what
may be stored outdoors?
Outdoor storage would consist of two types. The first
would be for the parking of various aircraft . This area
would take approximately two acres. The second would be
for the storage of engines in steel shipping containers,
and the storage of ground support equipment such as:
maintenance stands, and power carts. This would take
approximately 28 , 888 square feet .
h . Proposed hours of operation , number of employees, and
size of parking lot?
Our normal operating hours are from 7:88 AM to 6:88 PM,
Monday through Saturaday. We currently employ
approximately 58 people . It is estimated that with this
new facility the number would gradually increase to 258
people . The parking lot would be large enough to handle
