WC-88-2 OF ELWOOD AND <br /> PATRICIA COOPER (DISTRICT 1 ) <br /> IT IS RECOMMENDED: <br /> That the Board of Supervisors: <br /> 1. Approve the Negative Declaration and direct the Clerk to <br /> file a Notice of Determination; <br /> 2 . Approve General Plan Amendment Application No. GP-88-12 to <br /> General Industrial as indicated on Exhibit Map No. 1, <br /> based on the "Basis for General Plan Amendment" in the <br /> staff report; <br /> 3 . Approve Zone Reclassification Application No. ZR-88-10 to <br /> M-2 as indicated on Exhibit Map No. 1, and based on the <br /> "Bases for Zone Reclassification" in the staff report; and <br /> 4 . Tentatively approve Williamson Act Contract Cancellation <br /> No. WC-88-2 as indicated on Exhibit Map No. 2, and based <br /> on the findings presented in this Board letter and subject <br /> to the conditions and contingencies in this Board letter. <br /> REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Background: The intent of this application is to change the <br /> General Plan Land Use designation on a 74-acre parcel from <br /> Agricultural to General Industrial; to rezone the property <br /> from GA-40 to M-2; and to cancel the Williamson Act Contract <br /> on 19 acres of the subject parcel. The subject property is <br /> located adjacent to State Route 99 and adjacent to the <br /> Stockton Metropolitan Airport. The underlying project on the <br /> 19 acre portion is a jet engine and air frame repair facility <br /> proposed by Aero-Turbine, Inc. <br /> BOS LETTER PAGE 1 <br />
