AGE-NC Project No 02-0950 <br /> Page 7 of 9 <br />' 3 5 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> TPH-g was detected in the water sample collected from well MW-2 at a concentration of <br /> 2,000 micrograms per liter(µg/1) <br /> BTEX compounds were detected in the water sample collected from well MW-2 at concentrations <br /> of 6 1 µg/1 benzene, 650 µg/l toluene, 550 µg/1 ethylbenzene and 2,000 µg/1 xylenes <br /> No other analytes were detected at or above laboratory detection limits in the ground water samples <br /> analyzed The analytical results of the ground water samples collected on 21 October 2003 are <br /> summarized on Table 4 The laboratory report (CTEL Lab Project No CT214-0310133), QA/QC <br /> report and chain-of-custody form are Included in Appendix D Cross sections showing the extent of <br /> dissolved ground water contamination are provided in Figures 7 and 8 <br /> 4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br />�. Based on the data collected from the site, AGE concludes <br /> • Generally, gray, orange-brown to dark-brown, dry, silt with sand and gravel (fill <br /> material),was encountered from surface grade to approximately 6 feet bsg Light yellow- <br /> orange-brown to dark brown, damp to moist, clays, clayey silts and clayey sands were <br /> encountered from approximately 6 feet bsg to 21 feet bsg Brown, blue-gray to dark-gray, <br /> saturated, fine to coarse sand and silty sand was encountered from approximately 21 feet to <br /> 29 feet bsg, and to almost 35 feet bsg in the area of MW2 Gray to blue-gray, moist to <br /> saturated clay with medium to high toughness and plasticity was encountered from <br /> approximately 29 feet bsg to 36 feet bsg Blue-gray to green-gray, saturated, silt was <br /> rencountered from approximately 36 feet bsg to49 feet bsg in soil boring B4 Green-grey <br /> saturated, fine sand was encountered from approximately 49 feet bsg to the extent of the <br /> boring in soil boring B4 <br /> • TPH-g was detected in soil samples collected from borings B4 and MW2 at a maximum <br /> concentration of 12 mg/kg (B4-25), BTEX compounds were detected at maximum <br /> concentrations of 0 044 mg/kg benzene (MW2-35), 0 27 mg/kg toluene (MW2-35), <br /> 0 15 mg/kg ethylbenzene (B4-25) and 0 35 mg/kg xylenes (MW2-35) <br /> • Total lead was detected in all soil samples analyzed from borings MW 1 through MW3 at <br /> concentrations ranging from 6 3 mg/kg (MW2-35) to 15 mg/kg (MW1-35) <br /> • TPH-d, fuel oxygenates and other additives were not detected at or above laboratory <br /> detection levels in any of the soil samples analyzed <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc <br />
