Soil samples <br /> were collected during the installation of MW4, MW5, and MW6 which did not indicate <br /> contamination at the capillary fringe, located at approximately 26 feet below ground <br /> surface. However, groundwater contamination was evidenced in the samples <br /> collected from MW3 and MW6. <br /> As indicated in the report, groundwater flow has fluctuated from a southeast to a <br /> east-northeast direction. Current information suggests that additional monitoring wells <br /> north and east of MW3 will be necessary to define the extent of groundwater <br /> contamination.
