GX-94-3 OF
FRANK DE SOTO (C/O REEVES SAND COMPANY)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The request is for a Grading Excavation application to permit the
removal of 26 , 000 cubic yards of soil from a 14 , 8-acre parcel
located at the northwest corner of Manteca Road and Trahern Road,
south of Manteca. The application proposes to lower the existing
average elevation from 32 . 3 feet to 30. 9 feet to permit south-to-
north irrigation of the property from a proposed pipeline on the
south end of the property, adjacent to Trahern Road.
The Development Services Division has reviewed the above-referenced
application and intends to approve it subject to the following
Conditions of Approval.
NOTE: Because the soils report that was submitted with the
application did not specify the location and depth of samples,
whether the soil at the depth of excavation was comparable to
surface soil, and whether soil amendments would be required at the
depth of excavation, the following Conditions of Approval require
the topsoil to be stockpiled and replaced following excavation and
excavated material to be retained on site until after certification
by the Development Services Division. These Conditions of Approval
may be modified by the Development Services Division following
submittal of the above-noted information by the applicant.
Unless otherwise specified, all Conditions of Approval and
Ordinance Requirements shall be complied with prior to commencement
of grading and/or excavating.
The approval will expire 18 months from the date of approval unless
(1) all Conditions of Approval have been complied with, (2) all
necessary permits have been secured and remain in force, and (3)
all necessary permits from other agencies have been secured and
remain in force.
Those conditions followed by a Section Number or other Statutory
Requirement are based on Ordinance Requirements. Ordinance
Requirements cannot be modified.
