A black container with a white lid and storing aerosols (see photos IMG 1218-20) <br />- Located in the Adult Family Medicine Soiled Utility Room: <br />2. A black container with a white lid and storing Monsel's Paste, ferric subsulfate (IMG 1224-6). <br />3. A black container with a white lid and storing Cardinal Health Hot Packs and Infant Heel Warmers (IMG 1227-8). <br />4. A black container with a white lid and storing silver nitrate and potassium nitrate (IMG 1229-1231). <br />5. A black container with a white lid and storing acetic acid 4% (IMG 1232-4). <br />6. A black container with a clear lid, labeled as storing "expired supp," and contained several waste items, including <br />one labeled "BD Universal Viral Transport for Viruses, Chlamydiae, Mycoplasmas and Ureaplasmas" (IMG 1238-9). <br />7. A black container with a clear lid and storing hydrogen peroxide (IMG 1240-1) <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br />storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are <br />closed when not adding or removing waste.
