(SSSE), <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared the enclosed report of soil sample analysis <br /> collected after removal of three underground storage tanks(USTs)at 545 8 Section Road in Stockton, <br /> California. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure I - Location Map. A plan of the site is <br /> illustrated on Figure 2 -Site Plan. <br /> UST REMOVAL PROCEDURES AND SAMPLE COLLECTION <br /> One 8,000-gallon gasoline UST, one 8,000-gallon diesel UST and one 1,000 gallon fuel UST <br /> (unknown contents) were removed from the site on 30 December 1998. The USTs were removed <br /> by SSSE of Stockton, California, under the supervision of the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD). . <br /> Each UST removed was observed to be in good condition, with no visible holes. The UST's were <br /> i <br /> transported by West Coast Equipment for disposal. Soil removed during excavation was stockpiled <br /> adjacent to the excavation. The excavation was not backfilled after removal of the USTs. <br /> A total of ten soil samples were collected from the UST excavation, by representatives of AGE. <br /> Sample locations were.chosen by the PHS-EHD. Sample identification, identification and any field <br /> t <br /> observations are listed below: <br /> 1. Sample SP1-1: stockpile #1, south end; strong hydrocarbon odor. <br /> 2.
