Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) requested the
$66,000 connection fee be amortized over a five year period.' The City cannot tie
up sewer capacity for five years. However, the City will allow the $66,000 '
connection fee to be spread over a period of two years with monthly payments of
$2,750. This is a proposal until our City Council approves the Interim Agreement. }
This is in addition to the daily service fee and is described as follows:
a
When the sewer discharge begins, Mr. Langston will be billed the $2,750
connection fee.
The next month the charges will be $2,750 connection fee plus
approximately $1,680 in daily service fees ($56/day x 30 days) for a total of 1
$4,430.
The monthly connection fee of $2,750 will be charged for a period of twenty
four (24) months even if sewer discharge is halted, i.e., there are no service
fees. The monthly connection fee will cease when the San Joaquin County:,
Environmental Health Department determines that there will be no more
groundwater discharges.
I
